Delete my account
Last updated:
This page explains how to delete your Noz IPTV account (the “Noz IPTV Player” app on the App Store and Google Play) and your data. Deletion is final and cannot be undone. The publisher is presented in the legal notice.
From the app
- Open Settings, then Account.
- Select Delete account.
- Confirm. If your account has a password, enter it. If your account only uses Apple or Google, confirm with Apple or with Google.
The app then deletes the account and the synced data, signs you out and removes the account’s local data from that device.
From this website
- Sign in to your account.
- Open My account, Security section, then Delete my account.
- Confirm:
- account with a password: enter your password;
- Apple or Google account without a password: we send you an e-mail with a confirmation link. It is valid for 1 hour and must be opened in the browser where you are signed in.
If you can no longer sign in
Write to support@nozplayer.app from the account’s e-mail address, asking for its deletion. We may ask you to confirm the account is yours, and we answer within one month at most.
What is deleted
As soon as you confirm, the following is permanently deleted:
- your account: e-mail address, name, sign-in methods and open sessions;
- your viewing profiles and their avatars;
- your playlists, including their encrypted configuration;
- your favourites and favourite tags;
- your history and playback progress;
- your hidden categories;
- playback presence leases and TV sign-in codes linked to the account.
An account with no activity for about 3 years is deleted in the same way, after a warning e-mail; see the privacy policy.
If you signed in with Apple or Google, we also revoke the authorisation given to Noz IPTV with them. If that revocation failed, the account deletion still goes through: you can then remove Noz IPTV from your Apple or Google account settings.
What remains, and for how long
- Links sent by e-mail (verification, reset, deletion confirmation) expire after 1 hour, and anti-abuse counters are short-lived, and these expired rows (tied to your e-mail address or your IP address) are erased by a daily job, about 30 days after they expire.
- Cast: Cast access linked to the account (receiver, control authorisations, last playback state: title, content identifier, playback status, position and duration, track names) is emptied and revoked at the next action on the room, or by an alarm, at the latest 180 days after the receiver’s last offline activity (24 hours for a guest receiver). Open connections are cut at that moment.
- Technical logs (the service’s logs and Cloudflare Workers Logs): some error logs contain the account identifier. These logs are kept for 7 days. A call record holds details about the request, the response and metadata; Cloudflare’s documentation does not say whether the IP address is among them.
- Deleted data remains in the database backups (D1 Time Travel) for up to 30 days after the deletion. They are then erased. One-off manual exports of the database are deleted within 30 days.
- Messages you sent us through the contact form are kept for 3 years after the last exchange, in the Gmail support mailbox.
What deletion does not touch
- Local data of an app installed on another device: uninstall the app or delete the account from that device to erase it. The catalogue, the guide and the downloads never left your device.
- Your IPTV subscription and your data with your provider: Noz IPTV has no access to them.
- Your Apple or Google account, and data that these services, TMDB or YouTube may have received from you directly.
To see how we process your data, read the privacy policy.
